Aye Eye Update

Ahoy my pretties,

As you may know, I have been MIA because I am having eye surgeries.

The first one went really well!!

I have been documenting the whole process with recovery pictures and am writing right now with an eye patch on. Arrggggh…

Aye – here’s to hoping the 2nd eye goes as well as the 1st!! Surgery is on Tuesday!

Wish me luck,

One-Eyed Chel

Hi chel, I’m curious as to how your icl all went? I am petrified to do it because ppl were complaining that the iridotomy surgery left them with a “white line” or “dot” in their vision. So I cancelled it and chickened out 1 week before hand. This was last year September. It’s been a year now and again I’m having second thoughts. I hate wearing glasses and contacts so much! I just want to wake up and be able to see the world!! :)

Pls let me know how your experience went :)

The ICL surgery changed my life! I am so thankful every day that I got it. I could make such a long list of things…not having to take my contacts out at night or risk waking up with them fused to my eyeballs, not having to wear glasses, not dropping my contacts and having to crawl around looking for them on the floor, fear of tearing them, the CONSTANT DISCOMFORT and irritation, swimming!, not having to carry contact drops everywhere I go (or any supplies while travelling), the expense of all the supplies (solution, cases, contacts, glasses, drops, etc), not getting sand in my contacts at the beach!, no super dryness!!! I don’t have to worry about any of these things anymore!! And now I can see better than I’d ever imagined possible! I call it HD vision lol. I recommend this surgery so highly – just make sure you are going to a good doctor – look up reviews and everything. If you are from New Jersey, I can tell you who I went to. I do not have a line or dot in my vision. I did have a tougher recovery on my right eye than left, but nothing major and it was healed up in a few weeks, while vision continues to improve over time.
I will write up another post with pictures and describing the whole process.

Also I live in Australia so unfortunately will not be able to use your doctor , but I will endeavor to find a great one! Please let me know more about your surgery and outcomes. Was it easy to heal or painful? Again Ty so much , I think I needed to hear someone say the icl surgery did go well especially after reading all the negative reviews online . So Ty again Chelsea :) :) :)
